Food intolerances refer to all abnormal physiological reactions after consumption of a certain nutrient such as gluten, and they are not caused by the immune system. Food allergies are, on the other hand, an overreaction of the immune system to certain proteins. However, both food allergies and food intolerances can lead to skin and digestive problems, such as skin itching, hair loss, diarrhoea and vomiting. To minimise the chance of such nutrition-related issues, hypoallergenic diets are made with a reduced list of ingredients using only carefully selected, limited sources of protein and carbohydrates.
For that purpose, we have developed Hypoallergenic, lamb pâté with rice, a dietetic complete wet food for adult dogs for reduction of gluten intolerances and/or chicken and beef protein allergies. It is based on a single animal protein source (lamb) and selected, easy to digest carbohydrates, such as rice, which can help contribute to improved digestion.
SINGLE ANIMAL PROTEIN SOURCE
- Made using just one source of animal protein – lamb, lean, easy to digest protein with a low allergenic potential.
GLUTEN FREE RECIPE
- With cooked rice, which is a gluten free, easily digestible source of carbohydrate for energy supply.
DIGESTION SUPPORT
- With inulin, a source of fructo-oligosaccharides, prebiotic which helps to support healthy digestion.
BALANCED & NUTRITIOUS
- With vital vitamins and minerals to provide your pet with a balanced, nutritional meal.
